Topological Field Theory in four dimensions.

Abstract

In these lectures I will give a mathematically-oriented introduction to the most recent developments in topological field theory in four dimensions and the relation between Seiberg-Witten and Donaldson invariants. The main goal of the lectures is to formulate these invariants in the context of the so-called "u-plane integral" of Moore and Witten.
