New dynamics in non-commutative field and string theories

Abstract

In my lectures I will describe non-commutative field theories, non-commutative open string theories and OM theory. These non-local deformations of more familiar quantum field theories (and string theory) have intriguing new dynamical features, as I will attempt to explain.
